Filming in the construction industry

Introduction to a series of videos on various sectors we’ve worked on talking about some of the issues involved with shooting and scripting. This clip also covers how we use AI to reduce costs particularly in relation to scripting and colour editing in video.
This video talks about some of the considerations and difficulties of filming on construction sites. Though we have lots of our own footage shot on construction sites, this series of clips is meant to illustrate in part what can be achieved with stock footage and a script that is based on an original AI derived script, though since edited and made relevant to our services.

Filming in the construction industry

This clip covers filming in the construction industry and some of the issues to consider when commissioning work. We’re pretty familiar with filming in the industry from laying concrete floors in supermarkets to the final fit of glossy offices. Each environment has its challenges and safety aspects to consider but hot, dusty sites are our least favourite with cameras taking a pounding and then intense cleaning to remove the dust for their bodies.

We also help with making sure that when we film, we have all the necessary agreements in place as with many contractors and sub contractors working together it is really important to make sure everything is approved and you have permission to film, we also want to make sure that everyone is dressed as they should be and everything is compliant.

Then there’s access and the difficulties of filming and recording with heavy noisy machines going full tilt, but to date we’ve not been beaten and achieved some really great interviews on site.

None of the footage in this clips is ours as instead we wanted to show the sort of footage you can create using stock footage to illustrate a point. This is the first in a series of clips covering areas we’ve worked in quite a bit and how we’ve based the initial draft on an AI researched script, though one where we’ve used ‘Prompt Engineering’ to get pretty much the starting point we wanted. This clip uses a diverse range of clips from a number of sources but the following clips use specific clips from individual studios, still library footage, which enables us achieve a much more professional look.
