I’m very experienced working with clients in fine art and antiques and am adept at photographing small, intricate items in very precise focus.
I’ve recently provided photographs for a construction website, showing everything from concrete floors being laid to engineers ‘floating’ specialist bolts in building foundations.
I also provide product photography for e-commerce sites. Objects photographed include clocks, fine jewellery, clothing and glasses.
Fashion shoots for retailers such as Gabucci are usually product based and usually shot in situ.
Generally, we want to either show the specific items for online sales or create an image to attract footfall to the store, we use existing video supplied by the designers and from fashion shows to promote the brands as well as original video I create.
As well as video lights I have various pro flash lights, Olympus and Rotolight primarily. For photography I mainly shoot on Lumix with Olympus lenses. I got my first pro camera, an Olympus in 2005 and still have it, it has just three focus points, and two pro Olympus lenses and still takes great shots, but if I’m being paid I sometimes shoot on Nikon Z but more usually Lumix G9 and GH6. Filming is a mix of both for specific roles, my Nikon’s are brilliant with larger rigs and teleprompters but going forward I’m investing more in Sony Cinema Line.
