Podcasts, Reports and Web Design, making sure AI can cite your content.

This video talks about podcasts, reports and web design, and how we use to enable AI cite video and written content.

This clip talks about some of the more unusual services we provide to help our clients get citations in AI overviews.

A grandiose term for what we do could be Digital PR because we can take it a bit further than just producing content about your latest project. Whilst that is important, it often doesn’t enable you to present what is really special about your business.

We tackle this from three angles, we want to get you talking about what you do and to show examples, but then we also want to talk about your market and where you sit in it, and where you lead it.

We are looking to present you as an authority on what you do and that gets you recognised and put forward by AI and search.

I mention in my intro that the clips we shoot talking to camera aren’t meant to be directly entertaining, rather more informative and to build trust and confidence, while still keeping them enjoyable to watch.

Podcasts and AI Podcasts

Podcasts can allow us to have a little fun. Often they can be a little dry but if moderated well, with a good understanding of what you want to get over before you start, that can be really turned around.

However, an AI generated Podcast can produce something both entertaining and informative which takes your presentation to another level.

I’ve worked part of the last 18 months beta testing these for a major AI company and I basically prompt two AI characters discuss a subject that I’ve submitted as base script with a series of prompts.

I can set how serious I’d like it, how much detail I want on specific issues, how I’d like, for example, health and environmental issues to be covered.

I’ve an early one on my site for long term client Gabucci which I think works really well.

That one still has American voices but had we done as a commercial project, we would have changed the voices to fit the target audience and also personalised the script further.

The beauty is with a traditional podcast you tend to end up with just one take, with AI, you can redo, edit, adapt, bring in genuine actors or different AI characters as required.

The single take Gabucci one, immediately got them recommended on local searches in voice and in AI overviews relevant to the content. On every test we did, they were always in the top three with bigger companies, but they were the only firm that appeared consistently.

Marketing Reports

The third thing is industry specific market reports and information sheets, these are designed to give useful information to my clients visitors but also to present them as authorities in their field and in each case these have regularly led to my client being featured in AI overviews.

I’ve already put up a post about this which you can view but as the market keeps moving forward I will inevitably have to keep updating them.

Can AI read your website?

I also mention that we build fast, secure websites that are mobile and video friendly, primarily to help companies get off the ground and enable them use video effectively to help them grow. I mention all the time the need to code sites so that that search and AI can read the video content we produce and from there cite you and add you to AI overviews.

What I hadn’t realised is that Larege Language Models, AI to you and me, actually often can’t even read many professional websites, let alone any video content within.

That came as quite a surprise, naturally I checked that our were all readable and yes they were/are. But if your website renders in Java Script which many do, it probably can’t be read by AI, and certain major AI engines can only ‘read’ video if coded in a certain way. I will do a video on this shortly but do check yours is actually visible!
