Okay. So today, we’re gonna do a deep dive into something a little different, something you might not expect. We’re gonna talk about menswear. Oh, wow. Interesting. I know. Right? Not exactly what you think of when you think deep dives. Yeah. Usually a little more philosophical. Right? Exactly. But trust me on this one. This Gabucci video we’re looking at It’s got layers. Okay. I’m intrigued. So the whole thing starts with this question. What if the groom’s look was just as important as the bride’s, you know, for the whole feel of the wedding? Oh, that’s interesting. I mean, we always think of weddings as being all about the dress. You know? Totally. It’s like the dress is the story of the show. Yeah. Yeah. But Kabuchi’s kinda flipping the script. They’re saying the groom’s style matters just as much. I like that. And they’re really good at what they do. Their videos are slick. Yeah. Super high production value. Yeah. But we’re going deeper than that. Right? Like, what’s the real value here for the groom? Exactly. We’re not just looking at the marketing. We wanna understand what they’re really offering. And I gotta say, I’ve been to weddings where the groomsmen just looked so uncomfortable. Oh, yeah. It’s like they were stuffed into those rental suits. Totally. Like they had no idea what to do with themselves. Exactly. Just throws the whole vibe off. Oh, absolutely. Okay. I went to one where the groom looked amazing. Perfect suit, you know? Yeah. But his best man looked like he was about to burst out of his jacket. It was so distracting. Oh, no. That’s the worst. It was not good. So in the video, Gabucci talks about working really closely with wedding planners To make sure the groom’s look fits the whole theme of the wedding. Wow. So they really think about everything. Yeah. They consider the venue, the colors, even the mood they’re going for. That seems like a lot. Do you think that’s always necessary? I mean, what about a casual wedding? Like a backyard thing? Yeah. That’s a good point. Maybe for a super casual wedding, it’s a bit much. Right. But I still think even then having a groom who looks and feels good, it elevates the whole event. Yeah. I see what you mean. It’s not just about being formal. It’s about putting thought into it. Right. Exactly. Even if it’s relaxed, if the groom’s look is intentional, it shows he cares. Exactly. And Gabucci, they don’t stop at the groom. They do bespoke tailoring for the whole groom’s party. Really? Wow. Yeah. So everyone looks and feels their best no matter their body type or style. I guess that’s where the bespoke part really comes in. It’s not just measurements. It’s understanding each person Right. And making something that fits perfectly. Yeah. They even use hand stitching and canvas construction. Didn’t know that. So it’s like way more customizable and durable than those off the rack suits. Oh, that makes sense. It’s like the difference between something mass produced and a piece of art. Exactly. And the fabrics they use are incredible. They work with these Italian and Scottish mills. Oh. Yeah. Getting these beautiful materials that are also breathable, wrinkle resistant, all that. So it’s not just about looks. It’s about function too. Right. Exactly. It makes you think though, this level of craftsmanship, does it really matter beyond the wedding day? Oh, absolutely. I think it has a ripple effect. Think about it. When you wear clothes that fit you perfectly and make you feel confident, it changes how you carry yourself. Yeah. Your posture, your presence, even your mood. It’s like that saying, dress for the job you want, not the job you have. Exactly. But it goes beyond just work. It’s about showing up as your best self everywhere. I like that. And that’s what Gabucci gets. Right? They’re not just selling suits. They’re selling confidence and self expression. That’s a great way to put it. Yeah. So let’s talk details. The video really zooms in on things like fabric choices Ties, pocket squares, even cufflinks. Oh, yeah. And it’s like they’re saying these aren’t just accessories. They’re opportunities to tell a story. Right. It’s fascinating how these little details can say so much. Yeah. A unique tie, a perfectly folded pocket square, a vintage cufflink, they all add layers to your look. But that visual storytelling we were talking about before. Exactly. Using every element to create a cohesive and impactful impression. And it makes me think, what does menswear really mean today? Is it about status, self expression? That’s a great question. Something for our listeners to ponder. Yeah. I think this deep dive has shown us that menswear, it’s more than just clothes. Absolutely. It’s a way to communicate and present yourself to the world. Couldn’t agree more. Right. And whether you’re planning a wedding, a presentation, or just living your life, the lessons from Gabucci apply. What do you mean? It’s about intentionality. Paying attention to detail. Understanding that what you wear can impact how you feel and how others see you. So it’s about more than just looking good. It’s about feeling good and making a statement. Exactly. Great stuff. Thanks for joining me for this deep dive. Thanks for having me. And to all our listeners out there, keep thinking, keep exploring, and we’ll catch you next time. Yeah. See you later.
This video was produced for Gabucci a couple of years ago while I was working as a beta tester for Google on AI generated podcasts primarily.
So, not too surprisingly, there is a twist. Instead of a script I’ve produced, the above video features a dialogue from a podcast created for Gabucci in AI and using my video scripts as prompt material.
This was produced in a beta version of Gemini AI and features two American ‘guest presenters’ who talk very convincingly about Gabucci and the services.
We’ve worked very hard to get Gabucci to appear in AI overviews on a tiny budget, and we’ve had a lot of success but this video outperformed everything else we produced and particularly in terms of voice search.
We regularly check how Gabucci perform against their competitors and generally four key companies regularly appeared in voice search, always Gabucci along with one or two of their competitors.
Over time Gabucci tended to be the one company that was always quoted in voice search and the clips were usually taken from this script. It’s only our internal research and purely observational but shows how an interesting article produced for audio/video can really benefit in search.
We can edit the final content, change languages and voice over artists, both actual or AI, even mix and match. The original AI based script is just an interpretation from my prompts.
We’ve done a few of these, both as more marketing driven focus but with others, used as actual podcasts, we’ve been able to prompt them to make them entertaining and perfect for social media as a PR tool, encouraging followers while still conveying key brand messages.
Unless re-recorded with human voices, we do make clear the content delivery is AI generated and that you aren’t listening to a real person.
When filming dialogue for video, whether artists, business owners or consultants, I’d always prefer to film the actual person speaking but not everyone wants to be filmed and AI does give us a tool to overcome that. For that I wouldn’t use the AI program used above as that is specifically for developing a podcast tool. What I can do is use actors and voice over artists but also convert my scripts into code and capture that to an app which ‘speaks’ the script to a Mac which then converts that to an audio file. The code I create enables me work with a large variety of ‘digital’ artists across nearly twenty languages, and a number of regional dialects plus I can set the tone, the speed and unlike the software above, I can create exactly the dialogue I want. The two resources enable us support video, commercial, social media and podcast audio with ease, quickly and affordably.
In each case having a script or audio transcript allows me submit structure data to Google and the other search engines to ensure the content is ‘read’ and the search engines can and will connect to the perfect audience. Video is currently outperforming all other content in organic search by 50%, the key is making sure that the search engines can actually understand what the video is saying, and that is what we do!
